anw, the point of this post is to illustrate the fact that thin, skinny people are sensitive and have feelings too. sounds dumb? well, maybe not.

people should quit giving skinny people pitiful looks and telling them they're skinny. nobody goes around telling fat people they're fat..or that their arms are flabby with fat, or that they have thunder thighs. but nobody cares about skinny people! 'such small arms you have'..'skin and bones'..'where's ur waist'...blahblah.

fat cells don't contain genes for extra-sensitivity. telling a person he's skinny (in a bad way) is as bad AND as socially-incorrect to tell a fat person he's fat. drill that into your heads and be nice to the next skinny person you see.

otherwise, maybe you need to go check out the level of 'mean' genes in your system.

mum had an op abt 3 wks ago..she's recovering but there's still some depressed state left in her somewhere..hope she gets past that soon. thank u everyone who has shown concern in someway or other. these have been v trying times, but i see the rainbow somewhere in all this shit. dad has been wonderfully caring, patient and loving. it's a side of him and mum i've nv seen before. to all those nosy and stupid pple who come to visit, quit telling mum the op was a mistake. i cannot imagine who in the world with brains would do such a thing, so just fuck off. u have no idea how much insecurity and doubt that brings about to the patient, and this simply translates into extra emotional stress on the family.

indonesia is at it again. somebody jus lit a thousand cigarette buds all at one go and the skies are thick with smoke. i was watching the news and somebody suggested giving Indo money to solve the problem. like, hello???????? wth. maybe 99.9% of the money just goes into the pockets of goodness-knows-who. and why should we even give them money?! that's pure stupidity. more like the WHO should fine those idiots for being such a health hazard. seriously, they must be pretty useless if they can't even enforce a single rule. ok, i admit indo is a really large country with a huge population, but that's no excuse for inefficiency. Especially when it comes to issues that affect one's neighbours - that's just being plain selfish.

the world is so screwed up. why do pple like exterminating each other? why do we have to bother about economics, land, wars? if only we just put our resources to better use, pple wouldn't be starving and wasting away the way they do now. those with brains use them for all the wrong reasons - making bombs, nuclear weapons, money laundering, vice etcetc. our world is filled with problems everyday and there just seems to be no end in sight. one war after another, one death followed by another. is there any sanity in all this killing and power grabbing?

and i don't understand why women allow themselves to be treated in such derogatory fashion - posing in compromising pictures and acting in disgusting movies. in fact, they don't just allow themselves to be portrayed in such a manner, they are more than willing to do so. i remember a few years ago, some magazine listed britney spears as one of the most powerful artistes around. so she has accumulated a great deal of assets/no 1 hits but what's the pt of all that? i don't think a person who has to go about revealing her flesh and prancing around provocatively just to sell some albums is anything much. everything in this world is about flesh, flesh and more flesh. can there ever be too much? music, movies, magazines, tv, motor shows, dance. can't we appreciate a motor show for what it is - a showcase of cars, without the girls; or a dance performance for what it is - beauty, elegance, simplicity; or a movie for its plot, brilliant acting, excellent cinematography. do we always need the element of sex to make sth more appealing, or is that how superficial and lustful everyone has become.



cg today was about faith, forgiveness, peace, repentance, surrender. prayer without actions to seek god is of no use, as is whining about sth gone wrong being futile.
